Four Strings is a Brisbane-based group, but we frequently travel outside Brisbane for performances on the Gold and Sunshine Coasts. Travel time and costs are factored into our price lists below, so you won't be surprised by any additional charges! Our minimum booking time in any location is one hour. However, we do accommodate "extra" half-hours, for example, a 1.5 hour booking, or a 2.5 hour booking. In this case, the half-hour is charged at the "subsequent hour" rate eg. a 1.5 hour quartet booking in Brisbane would be $550 + $200 = $750. An extra 45 minutes will be charged as a full hour. A non-refundable deposit of $110 (subtracted from the total fee) is payable at the time of booking. If you would like a flute in your quartet, we can substitute a flute player for one of the violins for the same fee. If your event is at a location not listed below, please contact us for a quote. These prices are for single performances (eg. a wedding or party). If you are looking for a string quartet for a regular engagement (eg. in your restaurant for an hour every Saturday night) or over a longer period (eg. at your office building every morning in the week leading up to Christmas), please contact us. We are happy to offer special discounts.  * Brisbane Metroplolitan is counted as any location within 30 minutes travel of the Brisbane CBD.
